During Firewood Month in October, we partner with @DontMoveFirewood and @PlayCleanGo to reduce firewood movement and slow the spread of forest pests and diseases via the firewood pathway. We will focus on a specific theme each week on our social media platforms and in the Firewood Month Toolkit. You will find social media content, graphics, blogs, firewood messaging, and more in the toolkit.

Help us spread the word during Firewood Month to protect our parks and natural resources against the spread of invasive pests!

Sample Post:

With your help as a partner of Hungry Pests, we can extend the reach of April’s Invasive Plant Pest and Disease Awareness Month (IPPDAM) campaign. The posts below contain engaging messaging designed to encourage U.S. residents to learn more about how to reduce the spread of hungry pests. You can help raise awareness of these plant protection resources by sharing them from your organization’s social media accounts.

We encourage you to share this content during the entire month of April. Feel free to adjust the message as needed to fit your brand.
