Disease Status of a Country

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) and Newcastle disease (virulent) (NDV) are the 2 viral diseases that requires quarantine upon U.S. arrival, or may prohibit entry into the U.S. Importers should view the current disease status of the country of interest before applying for an import or transit permit.
